Se desejas sentir já bem perto
Nova Páscoa de libertação
Vem primeiro comigo ao deserto
Do silencio e da contemplação
Se o pecado e o mal desfiguram
Se te assustam a dor e a cruz
Minha graça e perdão transfiguram
Na Palavra terás nova luz
Se o cansaço da vida te invade
Quando a sede de amor te atingir
Eu serei aconchego e amizade
Junto à fonte, esperando por ti
Sou Pastor que te dá segurança
Que teus tímidos passos conduz

Persevera nas obras da luz!

A new Easter of liberation
Come first with me to the desert
Of silence and contemplation
If sin and evil disfigure you
If pain and the cross frighten you
My grace and forgiveness transfigure
In the Word you will have new light
If the weariness of life invades you
When the thirst for love strikes you
I will be comfort and friendship
By the fountain, waiting for you
I am the Shepherd who gives you security
Who guides your timid steps
Open your eyes, awaken! Rise up!
Persevere in the works of light!
I transform all death into seed
I came to free you from the shackles

And happily you will be able to walk
