Underground
I woke up underground
Not a light, not a sound
I threw my voice into the dark
But the dark had no remark
Just repeated what I said
Claustrophobic at first
Struck by hunger and thirst
I stood up and looked around
There was nothing to be found
Just a world I couldn't see
And I heard: Whoo
I can't see you now
I'll find my way underground
Then my fear began to ease
From far away whispered a breeze
Telling me to move along
Move along there's nothing wrong
So I cornered my resolve
Took a breath and took a step
Encountered metal on my left
What a strange thing to find
Metal in this place of mine
Running lengthwise down the hall
And I heard: Whoo
Then a light broke through the black
I was standing on a track
That little light began to grow
There was no where I could go
Oh oh and the ground began to shake
No time left to hit the brake
That little light was closing in
And suddenly I'm floating

You found me here underground

Ich wachte im Untergrund auf
Kein Licht, kein Geräusch
Ich warf meine Stimme in die Dunkelheit
Doch die Dunkelheit gab keinen Kommentar
Wiederholte nur, was ich sagte
Zuerst klaustrophobisch
Von Hunger und Durst getroffen
Ich stand auf und sah mich um
Es gab nichts zu finden
Nur eine Welt, die ich nicht sehen konnte
Und ich hörte: Whoo
Ich kann dich jetzt nicht sehen
Ich finde meinen Weg im Untergrund
Dann begann meine Angst zu schwinden
Von weit her flüsterte eine Brise
Die mir sagte, ich solle weitergehen
Geh weiter, es ist nichts falsch
Also stellte ich meinen Entschluss auf
Atmete tief ein und machte einen Schritt
Stieß auf Metall zu meiner Linken
Was für eine seltsame Sache zu finden
Metall an diesem Ort von mir
Läuft längs den Flur
Und ich hörte: Whoo
Dann brach ein Licht durch das Schwarz
Ich stand auf einem Gleis
Dieses kleine Licht begann zu wachsen
Es gab keinen Ort, wo ich hingehen konnte
Oh oh und der Boden begann zu beben
Keine Zeit mehr, um die Bremse zu betätigen
Dieses kleine Licht kam näher
Und plötzlich schwebte ich
