Gods and Earths
So much on my mind, i can't recline
let's rewind to these days were everything was fine.
there was a future in our lives,
now it's gone and i wanna know what changed.
nothing to lose, everything to prove,
everyone around is out to get you.
this is all we ever had, if it's the end of the road, don't look so sad.
i tried before and i tried again, i won't lie and i can't pretend.
that i know why i'm here. no light at the end of the tunnel,
i fear gods, earths, seeds and trees.
some get down on their knees, they bow down
and live to please, something that they can't see...
but not me!
i know that life is what you make it to be,
at times i feel that i'm my worst enemy!
no matter how you live, in the end you're found dust in the wind,
or six feet underground.
Dioses y Tierras
Tengo tanto en mi mente, no puedo relajarme
volvamos atrás a esos días en los que todo estaba bien.
había un futuro en nuestras vidas,
ahora se ha ido y quiero saber qué cambió.
nada que perder, todo por demostrar,
todos a tu alrededor están en tu contra.
esto es todo lo que alguna vez tuvimos, si es el fin del camino, no te veas tan triste.
lo intenté antes y lo intenté de nuevo, no mentiré y no puedo fingir.
que sé por qué estoy aquí. no hay luz al final del túnel,
temo a los dioses, tierras, semillas y árboles.
algunos se arrodillan, se inclinan
y viven para complacer, algo que no pueden ver...
¡pero no yo!
sé que la vida es lo que tú decides que sea,
a veces siento que soy mi peor enemigo.
no importa cómo vivas, al final te encuentras polvo en el viento,
o a seis pies bajo tierra.
