O dia de cristo bem perto esta;
Aos santos que dormem, ressuscitará;
Serão consolados os filhos de Deus,
Por tempo eterno no reino dos céus
Assim como cristo subiu para os céus,
Fará que os sigam os santos de Deus
É ele o primeiro da ressurreição;
A mesma vitória os justos terão
Viventes eternos serão, com Jesus,
Os que caminharam na senda de luz;
No sono dos justos adormecerão;
Imortalidade de Deus herdarão

The day of Christ is very near;
