A Coroa
A coroa que Ele usou não era de ouro
Apesar de o coroarem como rei
Não era de rubi ou diamantes
Mas era feita só de espinhos vivos
Por que tratar um rei desta maneira?
E por que fazê-lo usar coroa tal?
Ele nunca foi forçado a usá-la
Mas, por amor, deixou seu lar real
A coroa que Jesus usou na cruz
Fora feita para mim
Ele a trocou pela minha salvação
E jamais terá de usá-la outra vez!
O inimigo não desiste facilmente
Ele quer fazê-lo usar coroa tal
Mas tenha isto sempre em sua mente
No calvário o bem venceu o mal!
The Crown
The crown He wore was not made of gold
Although they crowned Him as king
It was not made of ruby or diamonds
But was made only of living thorns
Why treat a king this way?
And why make Him wear such a crown?
He was never forced to wear it
But, out of love, He left His royal home
The crown that Jesus wore on the cross
Was made for me
He exchanged it for my salvation
And will never have to wear it again!
The enemy does not give up easily
He wants to make Him wear such a crown
But always keep this in mind
At Calvary, good triumphed over evil!
