Land of Love
Veil not from us, Holy Spirit,
Beauties that are ever rife,
In our future home of glory,
Land of love and endless life.
Lift the curtain from our vision,
Fan the mists that dim our eyes;
We would scan the inner heavens
And from earthliness arise.
We would take the wings of morning,
And explore the mountain's height;
Or descend in pleasant valleys,
Seeking treasures free from blight;
In a blessed sweet communion
With the loved ones gone before,
We would clasp them nearer to us,
Range with them the heav'nly shore.
But we'll bide our time in patience,
And improve each moment well;
In a life of consecration
We will labor to excel.
Forming here a joyous heaven,
By creating one within;
And a home of love and beauty,
Free from discord, strife and sin.
Then abide, O blessed spirit!
Purify us unto Thee,
That a tow'r of strength and glory,
To the nations we may be;
And our earthly home foreshadow
Our eternal home above;
Dwelling place of truth and goodness,
Paradise of heav'nly love
Tierra de Amor
No nos ocultes, Espíritu Santo,
Las bellezas que siempre abundan,
En nuestro futuro hogar de gloria,
Tierra de amor y vida eterna.
Levanta el velo de nuestra visión,
Disipa las nieblas que nublan nuestros ojos;
Queremos explorar los cielos internos
Y elevarnos de lo terrenal.
Queremos tomar las alas de la mañana,
Y explorar las alturas de la montaña;
O descender en valles placenteros,
Buscando tesoros libres de mancha;
En una dulce comunión bendita
Con los seres queridos que nos precedieron,
Queremos abrazarlos más cerca,
Recorrer con ellos la costa celestial.
Pero esperaremos con paciencia,
Y aprovecharemos bien cada momento;
En una vida de consagración
Trabajaremos para sobresalir.
Formando aquí un cielo gozoso,
Creando uno dentro de nosotros;
Y un hogar de amor y belleza,
Libre de discordia, luchas y pecado.
Entonces quédate, oh Espíritu bendito!
Purifícanos para Ti,
Para que seamos una torre de fuerza y gloria,
Para las naciones;
Y nuestro hogar terrenal prefigure
Nuestro hogar eterno en lo alto;
Morada de verdad y bondad,
Paraíso de amor celestial.
