I watch the crumbling ground
To form an aisle
To light the way
I feel a warning gale
And down the hills
The shrine presents
Of calcified walls
The flesh and nails
Make roof and floor
The altar lights it’s flames
The bones make room
To one more soul
I then renounce my sight
My hearing fades
I kneel to them
The shadows walk at me
And whisper close
“You stay with us”
My voice I cannot hear
And still I pray
For my awake
