Many people gathered to see Jesus
While some cursed and told Him to come down
No one understood what He had come to do

Jesus gave himself up to die for me

Suddenly the sky darkened and the earth trembled
People saw that He was the Son of God
While he was there suffering, Jesus declared
That everything was over, the power of sin was gone

He defeated evil and now the people
