Canção da Esperança
No Natal essa história começa
Na noite em que nasce o neném
O brilho da estrela seguiam de longe
E viram a linda visão
Que linda visão!
O tempo passou, e o menino cresceu
Pois ele é o caminho, a verdade e a vida
E acreditaram que ele era o salvador
O filho de Deus, Messias e redentor
Os que duvidaram prenderam Jesus
O levaram, julgaram e mataram na cruz
Mataram na cruz
Deus então mudou a dor e o sofrer
Song of Hope
At Christmas this story begins
On the night the baby is born
The light of the star shone from afar
And they saw the beautiful sight
What a beautiful sight!
Time passed, and the boy grew up
Made the blind see with the touch of his hands
Born to be king, he was rabbi and lord
Gave his all to the least of us
The best of his being
Born and died over 2000 years ago
Smiled and cried, suffered all he could
Didn’t want power, I can’t understand
But his love never changed
Never changed
The voice of a prophet the world heard
A young carpenter faced them all
Stood against injustice and taught the good
For he is the way, the truth, and the life
And they believed he was the savior
The son of God, Messiah and redeemer
Those who doubted arrested Jesus
Took him, judged him, and killed him on the cross
Killed him on the cross
God then changed the pain and suffering
For death is not the end, just believe
There’s nothing left to fear, he is alive
Hope he comes to give us, he rose and he is alive
Hope he comes to give us, he rose and he is alive
