Shielding and striking with might
Your radiance shiny and bright
Sword’s flashing all around
My eyes and soul held spellbound
Your dance of death
Takes away my breath
Dreams of you hold fast
I fight to within, your grasp
Thoughts of us in winter’s night
Camped in snow, fire hot and bright
Quilts of skin, bound souls held tight
Entwined we greet first light
Exhausted and trembling
Soaked in blood and battle mud
Our enemy has suffered defeat
In glory to camp we retreat
Blessed by the gods for our deeds
They grant us bathe in their sacred pool
Ecstasy upon the heart
Emotions stirred our mouths part
Thoughts of us in winter’s night
