Statue Of a Fool
Somewere there should be for all the world to see a staue of a fool made of stone.An image of a man who let love slip through his hands and left him to stand here all alone.
So build a statue and oh build it high so all the world can see. and inscribe the worlds greatest fool,and name it after me.
And there on his face a gold tear should be placed to honor every tear he shed.And i think it would show,and everyone would know,concealed inside is a broken heart.
Estatua de un tonto
En algún lugar debería haber para que todo el mundo vea una estatua de un tonto hecha de piedra. Una imagen de un hombre que dejó escapar el amor entre sus manos y lo dejó aquí parado completamente solo.
Así que construye una estatua y oh, constrúyela alta para que todo el mundo pueda verla. Y graba las palabras del mayor tonto del mundo, y nómbralo como yo.
Y allí en su rostro debería colocarse una lágrima de oro para honrar cada lágrima que derramó. Y creo que mostraría, y todos sabrían, que dentro está un corazón roto.
