Hoje eu me sinto
Como decerto se sentiram os dinossauros
Quando de longe lá no alto avistaram
Iluminado no espaço sideral
Vinha de cima
Sobrevoando pelas ruas e telhados
E parecia dar aquilo que esperavam
Bem no início da história ocidental
É, talvez
A sua imaginação
Esteja tão limitada por problemas reais
Hoje eu me sinto
Como decerto se sentiram os astronautas
Quando souberam que de frente para a Lua
Não voltariam pro Cabo Canaveral
Sobrevoavam
Observando os telhados lá de cima
E prometiam para todos que esperavam
