Easter Bunny
Guess I'm filled with the Christmas spirit
Celebrate a jolly man in red
Hope my kids don't find out Santa Clause isn't real
Maybe I should have told them about Jesus instead
Last time I heard about it He didn't come in a Santa outfit
Santa Clause is dead!
Guess it's time to thank the easter bunny again
For doing absolutely nothing in my life
What the heck do a bunch of colored eggs
have to do with the Son of God being raised back to life

Christmas is when I celebrate Jesus' birth
Easter's when I celebrate Jesus' resurrection
Jesus is alive!
Paashaas
Ik zit vol met de kerstgeest
Vier een vrolijke man in het rood
Hoop dat mijn kinderen niet ontdekken dat de Kerstman niet echt is
Misschien had ik ze beter over Jezus kunnen vertellen
De laatste keer dat ik erover hoorde, kwam Hij niet in een kerstoutfit
De Kerstman is dood!
Ik denk dat het tijd is om de paashaas weer te bedanken
Voor het doen van absoluut niets in mijn leven
Wat hebben een stel gekleurde eieren
Te maken met de Zoon van God die weer tot leven komt
De laatste keer dat ik erover hoorde, stond Hij niet op in een paaskostuum
De paashaas is dood!
Kerstmis is wanneer ik de geboorte van Jezus vier
Pasen is wanneer ik de opstanding van Jezus vier
Jezus leeft!
