Religion is a Fraud
Another set of rules to keep you in line
They've reserved you a space so you bide your time
Something to look forward to, something to make you feel safe
So you gave all your support to the church and state
Religion, religion, religion is a fraud
And so is the myth you refer to as god
Send your kids to school, hope they'll fit the mold
Make them learn they'll be punished if they don't do as they're told
But it's punishment enough growing up in these times
They don't need a godwash to cleanse their minds
Something to keep you content until you die
Pray every day to jesus and all will be fine
Why don't you grow up and observe all the lies
God's only in your head, when will you realize
Religie is een Oplichting
Weer een set regels om je in het gareel te houden
Ze hebben een plek voor je gereserveerd, zodat je je tijd kunt doorbrengen
Iets om naar uit te kijken, iets om je veilig te laten voelen
Dus gaf je al je steun aan de kerk en de staat
Religie, religie, religie is een oplichting
En ook de mythe die je god noemt
Stuur je kinderen naar school, hoop dat ze in het plaatje passen
Laat ze leren dat ze gestraft worden als ze niet doen wat ze moeten doen
Maar het is al straf genoeg om op te groeien in deze tijden
Ze hebben geen godwash nodig om hun geest te reinigen
Iets om je tevreden te houden tot je doodgaat
Bid elke dag tot Jezus en alles komt goed
Waarom groei je niet op en zie je al die leugens
God zit alleen in je hoofd, wanneer ga je dat inzien?
