In the dust of the canyon, Joshua stands tall
Facing modern kings, he won't let them fall

Sun, stay put, Moon, don't go too far, this is a test of His might

Every shadow fades, as the Lord's power takes flight
Heavenly forces align, for twenty-four hours they stay
Enemies see their fate, as the Sun and Moon play
He didn't look at the setting Sun, but fixed his gaze
On the Lord who had already won, with a heart ablaze
With a roar of faith, he raised his hand
And spoke a word that shook the land
Let the Sun stand still over Gibeon
And you, O Moon, over Aijalon
Heaven paused at a mortal's cry
Glory of God filled up the sky
Never was a day like this before
Lord fought the war, set the score
In every age, the same divine might
From ancient battles to the night
The Lord Almighty fights for us
Healing broken hearts, giving us trust
If He can hold the Sun in place
He can heal the wounds of grace
If He can make the planets pause
He'll fight for you, win your cause
Creator listens when we pray
