The Criminal

Duelo

Iba dispuesto a matar

The Criminal

I'm going to sing you the story
Gentlemen, what happened in the barretal
A man and a woman have already died
At the hands of a criminal

The moon was shining brightly
When that man arrived
His son was crying in the cradle
And he couldn't find his wife

Under the branches of a very large tree
Two bodies can be seen
One was that traitor and coward
And the other his wife

The villain approached so silently
That he didn't even want to breathe
He was holding a dagger in his hand
He was ready to kill

More than sixty times his hand
Managed to sink the dagger
And the villain didn't stop sinking it
Until he saw them die

When he saw his dead wife
He said, traitor, you deserve more
May God take care of your son
You're going to hell

The judge who sentenced him
Told him your crime is proven
To the harm they did to me
What punishment do you give

I know I'm going to jail
That's why I'm going to pay for my crime
And if they tell me in jail that they've returned
I'll come out and kill them again
