i tried to live according to your ways
yet hypocrisy marked my every step
lies to myself became my companion
as i lived under your rules for living
religious games i will no longer play
for the Holy Spirit dwells in my life as i walk
with my Lord Christ walking in his ways
being blessed by the Grace of God

Intenté vivir según tus formas
pero la hipocresía marcaba cada paso
mentiras a mí mismo se convirtieron en mi compañía
mientras vivía bajo tus reglas de vida
juegos religiosos ya no jugaré más
porque el Espíritu Santo habita en mi vida mientras camino
con mi Señor Cristo caminando en sus caminos
siendo bendecido por la Gracia de Dios
quitándome esa piel muerta de la religión
despojando la tradición de mi vida
alejándome de mis formas hipócritas
solo viviré por Jesucristo
