Près d'un champs de blé merveilleux
M'arrêta...je lis à grand peine:

Quel destin à vrai dire, immense
Repose sous ce granit bleu
Parmi le blés qui se balancent

Est-ce un enfant, ou est-ce un homme
Pour qui la mort fit, c'est tant mieux
De mettre un carré de royaume

A-t-il souffert, fut-il coupable
A-t-il fait pleurer de beaux yeux
Fut-il tragédie ou bien fable

A-t-il la pluie comme village

Le soleil pour grand équipage
