Fiesta En La Sierra
Había una fiesta en la sierra
las metralletas tronaban
había perico y licor
muy a gusto la pasaban
con un cuerno entre sus
manos el jefe los observaba
el festejo es pa su gente
pa sus hombres de confianza
los que se juegan la vida
para cuidarle la espalda
ellos también se merecen
pegarse una destrampada
con un cuadro de lavada
y botellas de tequila, tambien cerveza
y buchanas alegres de divertían
el jefe al ver el relajo
una sonrisa tenia!
pocos patrones como el
que sabe grangear su gente
el viene de cuna humilde
y eso lo lleva en su mente
oriundo de Sinaloa
cuna de puros valientes
por eso todos lo estiman
lo respetan y lo admiran
y sin pensarlo dos veces
por el se juegan la vida
y como es bueno el señor
hasta el gobierno lo cuida
es chaparro de estatura
pa que les digo apellidos
como una fina persona
el hombre es reconocido
por eso con mucho gusto
yo le canto su corrido
Party In The Sierra
There was a party in the sierra
the machine guns were roaring
there was cocaine and liquor
they were having a great time
with a horn in their
hands the boss watched them
the celebration is for his people
for his trusted men
those who risk their lives
to watch his back
they also deserve
to let loose
with a tablecloth
and bottles of tequila, also beer
and cheerful buchanas they were having fun
the boss seeing the chaos
had a smile!
few bosses like him
who knows how to reward his people
he comes from humble beginnings
and carries that in his mind
native of Sinaloa
cradle of pure brave
that's why everyone esteems him
respects and admires him
and without thinking twice
they risk their lives for him
and as he is a good man
even the government takes care of him
he is short in stature
why tell you last names
like a fine person
the man is recognized
that's why with great pleasure
I sing his ballad
