Frogman Suit

Frogman Suit

In my frog man suit, I'll come to get you on a Sunday
Like all the boyfriends do when they go to pick up their girls
And once a week, I'll cry for your absence
Flooding my helmet with real tears

We'll dance together to the music of a pumping band
And with compressed air, we'll toast to the joy of love

In my frog man suit, I'll recite my poems to you
Drawing tears from your eyes like ocean water
And once a week, I'll go to church
To pray for your waist to some real saint

Turning into pagans, we'll climb a mountain to meditate
Worshiping golden calves and burning incense sticks at an altar
We'll eat the roots of the plants that make us dream the most
To interpret the world, assuming there's something to interpret

We'll dance together with the novelty of a unique step
And with compressed air, we'll toast to the joy of love
