Hébreux 12 dit : Donc, puisque nous sommes entourés d'une si grande nuée de témoins, rejetons tout ce qui nous freine et le péché qui nous enveloppe si facilement, et courons avec persévérance la course qui nous est proposée. Fixons nos yeux sur Jésus, l'auteur et le parfait de notre foi, qui, pour la joie qui lui était proposée, a enduré la croix, méprisant la honte, et s'est assis à la droite du trône de Dieu. Considérez celui qui a enduré une telle opposition de la part des hommes pécheurs, afin que vous ne vous lassiez pas et ne perdiez pas courage.
