Já passei nessa vida trechos ruins
As ondas do mar da vida tingiram a mim
Sem mais esperança, o meu coração
Clamei então a Jesus pala a salvação
Hoje sou eu uma barca resgatada
Por Jesus ela vai, bem comandada
Ao porto da salvação ela foi guiada
No meio da tempestade, ouvi uma voz
Tão linda e meiga e forte
Era Jesus
Tomou o leme da embarcação
E conduziu-me ao porto da salvação

The Boat
I've been through bad stretches in this life
The waves of the sea of life have dyed me
Without hope, my heart
I then cried out to Jesus for salvation
Today I am a rescued boat
By Jesus she goes, well commanded
To the port of salvation she was guided
In the midst of the storm, I heard a voice
So beautiful and gentle and strong
It was Jesus
He took the helm of the boat
And led me to the port of salvation

At the helm is my Jesus, guiding my life
Until I reach the heavenly port
