Peregrino nesse mundo sou, peregrinando mas andando sempre vou
Muitas vezes tropeçando, chorando ou cantando
Passos lentos mas eu caminhando vou
Se o inimigo me ataca no caminho
Tem Alguém que vem lutar em meu favor
Se o vale me cercar e eu não conseguir passar
Esse Alguém vem novamente me ajudar
Não posso parar, o caminho é difícil: Eu bem sei
Mas comigo está Jesus, quem em Seus braços me conduz
E com Ele sempre seguro serei

I'm a pilgrim in this world, wandering but always moving on
Often stumbling, crying or singing along
Slow steps but I keep on walking strong
If the enemy attacks me on the road
There's Someone who comes to fight for me, I know
If the valley surrounds me and I can't get through
That Someone comes again to help me too
I can't stop, the road is tough: I know it well
But Jesus is with me, guiding me in His embrace
And with Him, I'll always be safe and sound.
