No mundo existe tanta tristeza, tanta aflição
Só mesmo Deus, o Soberano, com sua forte mão
Vem meus problemas solucionar
E dá-me forças pra caminhar
Sempre ao meu lado, no dia a dia, até no céu chegar
Há neste mundo quem persegue crente por falar em Deus
Mas é perdido perseguir o povo que Deus escolheu
Se hoje sofrendo, chorando estou
É porque um dia Jesus me amou
E por amar-me, jamais na cruz seu sangue me negou
Oh, quantos sofrem, oh, quantos morrem sem negar Jesus
Oh, quantos choram por Deus, imploram carregando a cruz
Se a minha angústia me atormenta, me roubando a paz
Existem tantos que por Jesus suportam muito mais
Ser perseguido pelo amor de Cristo e guardar a fé
É lutar firme, erguendo a bandeira bravo até morrer
A minha vida muito custou, o preço dela, Jesus pagou
Se hoje eu perdê-la, sei que irei morar com o meu Senhor
Não desanimo, pois à minha frente vai o General
Não temo a morte, pois receberei de Deus, um galardão
Deus é comigo, eu vencerei
No céu com Cristo eu cantarei
Sem mais lamento eternamente eu serei feliz
Suffering for Jesus
In the world there is so much sadness, so much affliction

Oh, how many cry to God, beg carrying the cross
If my anguish torments me, robbing me of peace
There are so many who for Jesus endure much more
Being persecuted for the love of Christ and keeping the faith
It's fighting hard, raising the flag bravely until death
My life cost a lot, Jesus paid the price for it
If I lose her today, I know I will live with my Lord
I do not lose heart, because the General is ahead of me
I do not fear death, for I will receive a reward from God
God is with me, I will win
In heaven with Christ I will sing
No more regrets, I will be eternally happy
