Yo conocí esta ciudad
cuando la noche caía con la luna y sofá
demostrar cada lugar
con un encanto de niña de cemento y estrás
y me envolvió como envuelve el mar
y fui tan vulnerable en sus brazos de cristal
y me sedujo como seduce el mar
y fui tan vulnerable...tan vulnerable
en sus brazos de cristal
y así yo vi pasar
el arte milenario de una estrella de mar
y escuche la voz
de un hombre de mil años con un rostro angelical
que me envolvió como envuelve el mar
pero fui invulnerable a su canto de ultramar
y no intenté siquiera escapar
como escapar de esta poesía sin final
sin final uoooou
yo conocí esta ciudad

How the Sea Seduces
I met this city
when the night fell with the moon and sofa
showing every place
with a charm of a concrete and rhinestone girl
and it enveloped me like the sea envelops
and I was so vulnerable in its glass arms
and it seduced me like the sea seduces
and I was so vulnerable...so vulnerable
in its glass arms
and so I saw pass by
the millenary art of a starfish
and I heard the voice
of a man of a thousand years with an angelic face
that enveloped me like the sea envelops
but I was invulnerable to his ultramarine song
and I didn't even try to escape
how to escape from this endless poetry

I met this city

and now I'm here
sitting on the stones that saw it born...
