A Grande Parada
As profecias estão se cumprindo
E o grande dia breve virá
Breve virá, como um ladrão
Assaltar a multidão
Meu coração vive a saltitar
Na esperança viva de ver
O Cristo vivo a desfilar
Com miríades de anjos a descer
O véu do azul se romperá
Para o Senhor Jesus passar
Pela porta das estrelas
O Cristo vivo, o enviado, o esperado
Tal qual o noivo, pra sua noiva, jardim fechado
Água e fogo e os abismos
As sepulturas lhe obedecerão
Dando os seus corpos
E os santos ressuscitarão
Pelos olhos de fé eu vejo Jesus
Com vestes prateadas, como chama de luz
Seguido de anjos, e a igreja também
Cantando e marchando, pra Jerusalém
Em que lindo esplendor, os meus olhos verão
O Sol e as estrelas, que por certo cantarão
Em linguagem sutil, que Jesus traduzirá
Hosanas ao Filho de Deus, nesta grande parada
Pelos olhos de fé eu vejo Jesus
Com vestes prateadas, como chama de luz
Seguido de anjos, e a igreja também
Cantando e marchando, pra Jerusalém
The Grand Parade
The prophecies are being fulfilled
And the great day will come soon
He will come soon, like a thief
To rob the crowd
My heart is always leaping with joy
In the living hope of seeing
The living Christ parading by
With myriads of angels descending
The veil of blue will be torn
For the Lord Jesus to pass
Through the door of the stars
The living Christ, the sent one, the awaited one
Just like the groom, for his bride, a closed garden
Water and fire and the abysses
The graves will obey him
Giving their bodies
And the saints will rise again
Through the eyes of faith I see Jesus
Dressed in silver robes, like a flame of light
Followed by angels, and the church too
Singing and marching, to Jerusalem
In what beautiful splendor my eyes will see
The Sun and the stars, which will surely sing
In subtle language, which Jesus will translate
Hosannas to the Son of God, in this great parade
Through the eyes of faith I see Jesus
