By Neptune's Hand

Euroforce

The sea was once an endless veil
Watched his boat pass alone in the night
Where shimmering souls glide below
On phosphorus trails, he's got to go
But sometimes waves pound on the shore
Strong violent storms, the crash of a bow
On the bow, and free from care go

He's a man, a sailor that goes overseas
To lands where no one of us has been
Where harbors grow in wealth and among the green
Shadows

He's an ancient sailor's spirit
Crushed and thrown away
And his ship seems to be able to sail

My father sailed across the seas
Saw many sights in different lands
He fought the storms, navigated the nights
And heard the tales from many mouths
The tales of ghostly sails
Of crews all dead and in a wooden grave
When he came home, I saw his spirit no more

He's a man, a sailor that goes overseas
To lands where no one of us has been
Where harbors grow in wealth and among the green
Shadows

He's an ancient sailor's spirit
Crushed and thrown away
And his ship seems to be able to sail

He's a man, a sailor that goes overseas
To lands where no one of us has been
Where harbors grow in wealth and among the green
Shadows

He's an ancient sailor's spirit
Crushed and thrown away
And his ship seems to be able to sail

To a man, a sailor that goes overseas
To lands where no one of us has been
Where harbors grow in wealth and among the green
