Toda a garotada da terra colaborou no meu
entusiasmo. Íamos para o campo,

A única arrelia que tive com ela foi
quando um dia, sem querer, pam,
acertei em cheio na tia Albertina.

A Flóber
I still remember. The best gift I ever had was undoubtedly that slingshot. All the kids in the neighborhood contributed to my excitement. We would go to the field, bam bam, sparrow here, bam bam, sparrow there.
The only trouble I had with it was when one day, accidentally, bam, I hit Aunt Albertina right on target.
