Time Heals
I spent so much time in the past
Wishing that - i could go back
I thought i could make a change somehow
With all these things - i know now
Just these thoughts - again and again
The what if's or what could've beens
Time heals all wounds
But the scars - still show through
What i saw, said or did
It is what it is
And i can't help it
But it still hurts to look
Back on some things
And wish they were somehow
Done differently
Wrapped up in the past i couldn't see what i had
I need to let go of what's holding me back
Let these memories fade
Cause i'm looking out - on better days

Pasé tanto tiempo en el pasado
Deseando que pudiera volver atrás
Pensé que de alguna manera podría hacer un cambio
Con todas estas cosas que sé ahora
Solo estos pensamientos una y otra vez
Los 'y si' o lo que podría haber sido
El tiempo cura todas las heridas
Pero las cicatrices aún se ven
Lo que vi, dije o hice
Es lo que es
Y no puedo evitarlo
Pero aún duele mirar
Hacia atrás en algunas cosas
Y desear que de alguna manera
Se hubieran hecho de manera diferente
Envuelto en el pasado, no podía ver lo que tenía
Necesito soltar lo que me está frenando
Dejar que estos recuerdos se desvanezcan
Porque estoy mirando hacia días mejores
