Pois da China pro Brasil é bem grande a distância
E achávamos que iria ficar tudo bem
Mas num piscar de olhos o mundo mudou
E em todo o planeta o vírus se espalhou
E entre pobres e ricos não escolhe ninguém
A ficha ainda não caiu pra uns até agora
São milhares de pessoas que estão indo embora
Sem poder dar um abraço, ao menos um adeus
E o povo tá dividido, falta direção
Uma parte quer ficar em casa e a outra não
Pois do jeito que estamos, só a mão de Deus
Pra nos guiar e nos mostrar o que Ele quer de nós
Oh meu Senhor, por favor
Escuta a nossa voz, a nossa voz
No mundo tem muita gente que está sofrendo
Mas eu tenho certeza que o Senhor tá vendo
Tens o controle de tudo e sabes o que faz
Mas também tem muita gente que faz caridade
E eu tô percebendo que a sociedade
Agora nesse momento, somos todos iguais
Saudamos todos os médicos e enfermeiros
Que contra o Corona Vírus são os primeiros
Arriscando suas vidas e suas famílias
Perdoe a minha ignorância por não entender
Mas acho que tudo isso é pra gente aprender
Dar valor ao nosso próximo e fazer maravilhas

I still don't understand

God it happened so suddenly
I've never seen this
At first, no one paid much attention
Because from China to Brazil the distance is quite large
And we thought everything would be fine
But in the blink of an eye the world changed
And the virus spread across the planet
And it doesn't choose between the poor and the rich
The reality hasn't sunk in for some until now
Thousands of people are passing away
Without being able to hug, not even say goodbye
And the people are divided, lacking direction
Some want to stay at home and others don't
Because the way we are, only God's hand
To guide us and show us what He wants from us
Oh my Lord, please
Listen to our voice, our voice
In the world, many people are suffering
But I'm sure you see, Lord
You have control of everything and know what you're doing
But there are also many people doing charity
And I'm realizing that society
Now at this moment, we are all equal
We salute all doctors and nurses
Who are the first against the Coronavirus
Risking their lives and their families
Forgive my ignorance for not understanding
But I think all of this is for us to learn
To value our neighbor and do wonders
Oh my Lord, please, listen to our voice
