Especie En Peligro
Hoy me levante mirando la televisión
Y no pudo creer lo que tengo ante mi vista
Se habla de guerra con mucha preocupación
Dicen que es algo en contra de los terroristas
Y por un lado hay muchos que lo favorecen
Pero por otro hay muchos que también se oponen
Unos que dicen que eso es lo que se merecen
Y otros que ruegan para que por fin reacciones

Y vemos la primera plana del diario
en cada puesto de revista
Hay un mudo dividido y cada cual
tiene su punto de vista
vemos diferentes opiniones
a lo largo de toda la tierra
unos que quieren la paz
y otros que prefieren ir a la guerra
Y en medio de todo esto me sorprende
Lo mucho que hemos cambiado
Pues ya no vemos la fuerza de aquella unión
Que vimos en el pasado
Donde están aquellos que se unieron aquel día
En que fuimos bombardeados
Ayer estaban unidos pero
hoy ya todos se han separado
Pues con el pasar del tiempo
Tal parece que se nos ha olvidado
Mientras continuo mirando la televisión
Veo que todo mundo sigue con la misma historia
Siguen diciendo que es una equivocación
Mientras otros pelean para tener la victoria
Por otro lado la tensión sigue subiendo
muchos condenan todo lo que esta pasando
la frustración del mundo entero esta creciendo
cuando la lista de caídos va aumentando

Criticamos la guerra y toda la violencia
Pero entre nosotros reina la discordia
Muchos que con protesta ponen resistencia
Hoy siguen señalando sin misericordia
Dicen que es un abuso contra mucha gente
Que son miles los niños que están falleciendo
Pero hemos olvidado a los inocentes
Que a causa del aborto hoy siguen muriendo
Y mientras en primera plana lo que sigo viendo
Es la misma noticia
hay un mundo dividido y cada cual
tiene su punto de vista
hay un mundo que se pierde en
el pecado por culpa de la codicia
la familia es una especie en peligro
pero no queremos verlo
el divorcio esta en aumento
pero eso nadie quiere resolverlo
y en medio de todo esto me doy cuenta
del por que todo ha cambiado
y es que todos los valores que
teníamos los hemos congelado
hay la necesidad de que miremos
hacia atrás recordemos el dolor
de Jesús cuando fue crucificado
pus con el pasar del tiempo tal
parece que se nos ha olvidado
nos preocupamos por el terrorismo
en Afganistán e Irak pero no
nos preocupamos por el terrorismo
en los hogares hijos se levantan
contra padres, padres contra hijos
violencia domestica abuso infantil
las torres no cayeron el 9/11
la primera callo en el 1962 cuando
sacaron la oración de las escuelas
y la segunda en el 1973 cuando
se aprobó el aborto
amigo la familia es una especie
que esta en peligro

Today I woke up looking at the television
And I couldn't believe what I have before my eyes
There's talk of war with much concern
They say it's something against the terrorists
And on one side there are many who favor it
But on the other side there are many who also oppose it
Some say that's what they deserve

at every magazine stand
There's a divided world and each one
has their point of view
we see different opinions

some who want peace
and others who prefer to go to war
And in the midst of all this it surprises me
How much we have changed
Because we no longer see the strength of that unity

Where are those who came together that day
When we were bombed
Yesterday they were united but
today they have all separated
Because with the passing of time
It seems we have forgotten
As I continue watching the television
I see that everyone continues with the same story
They keep saying it's a mistake
While others fight for victory
On the other hand, tension keeps rising
many condemn everything that is happening
the frustration of the whole world is growing
as the list of fallen increases

We criticize war and all violence
But discord reigns among us
Many who resist with protest
Today continue pointing without mercy
They say it's an abuse against many people
That thousands of children are dying
But we have forgotten the innocent
Who are still dying because of abortion
And while on the front page what I keep seeing
Is the same news
there's a divided world and each one
has their point of view
there's a world that is lost in
sin because of greed
the family is an endangered species
but we don't want to see it
divorce is on the rise
but no one wants to resolve it
and in the midst of all this I realize
why everything has changed
and it's because all the values we
had we have frozen
there's a need for us to look back
remember the pain
of Jesus when he was crucified
because with the passing of time it
seems we have forgotten
we worry about terrorism
in Afghanistan and Iraq but we don't
worry about terrorism
in homes children rise up
against parents, parents against children
domestic violence child abuse
the towers didn't fall on 9/11
the first one fell in 1962 when
they took prayer out of schools
and the second in 1973 when
abortion was legalized
