Just a few hours after the sunrise,
On the resurrection day,
Two men from emmaus walked and talked along their way;
When all of a sudden from out of nowhere,
Came a one that seemed to be so wise;
Unbeknownst to either,
They were talking with the christ.
On the road to emmaus they met Jesus,
And he came and spoke to them;
He opened the scripture,
So their eyes could plainly see;
That he was the only god, jehovah,
Conquering death at calvary;

Nur wenige Stunden nach Sonnenaufgang,
Am Tag der Auferstehung,
Gingen zwei Männer aus Emmaus und sprachen auf ihrem Weg;
Als plötzlich aus dem Nichts,
