[Issa:] Oh, right, I'm here to talk to you about straight edge
Straight edge isn't for everyone
But I want to tell you what it's important to me
There are a lot of different reasons and it changed over the years
Back when I was 16 I was really angry
about all the peer pressure to smoke, to do drugs, and alcohol
Straight edge was there to tell me I wasn't alone in thinking it was okay not to drink
There were other people out there who wanted to live poison free
Now that I'm 25
[Kelly:] Actually you're closer to 35
[Issa:] Hey, young till I die
Anyway, now that I'm older I'm still deeply disturbed
by the cigarette and alcohol companies
They lie about health and other dangers
They portray women and men badly
And they specifically target children and poor people
They are definitely not getting my money

Straight Edge war da, um mir zu sagen, dass ich nicht allein bin mit der Meinung, dass es okay ist, nicht zu trinken.
Es gab andere Menschen, die giftfrei leben wollten.
Jetzt, wo ich 25 bin,
[Kelly:] Eigentlich bist du näher an 35.
[Issa:] Hey, jung bis ich sterbe.
Wie auch immer, jetzt, wo ich älter bin, bin ich immer noch tief betroffen
von den Zigaretten- und Alkoholunternehmen.
Sie lügen über Gesundheit und andere Gefahren.
Sie stellen Frauen und Männer schlecht dar.
Und sie zielen speziell auf Kinder und arme Menschen ab.
Sie bekommen auf jeden Fall nicht mein Geld.
