No vine aquí para tentarte a la maldad
Tan solo quiero que la fe no te aleje de la verdad
Verás
Sé que te han dicho que Dios es benevolente
Y que si hay mal es por la gente que no se ha resistido a pecar
Supongamos que eso es cierto, que así ha pasado realmente
Y que Dios, aun siendo consciente, no lo quiso evitar
Pero ¿qué pasa con los que tienen algún tumor
O alguna otra condición que el humano no causó?
Castigo divino dicen, y si es así, ¿qué me dices
Que pudo haber hecho un feto para nacer sin visión?
Si aceptamos que Dios es, de este mundo el creador
Entonces también lo fue del tsunami de Japón
Del terremoto en Haití o cada huracán y ciclón
Que a millones de familias la vida les quitó
Si pierdo la fe
Mi vida eterna peligra si pierdo fe
¿Y si no perdiera la fe?
Mi vida entera peligra si tengo fe
¿Dios no da batallas que no puedas soportar?
Dile eso a aquellos pacientes en estado terminal
Especialmente si son niños que echan de menos jugar
Y que no entienden por qué lloran tanto su mamá y papá
Dicen que al paraíso van quienes mueren pequeños
Pero nadie lo cree en serio y menos los padres de ellos
De lo contrario agradecerían los perdieron
Y mirarían el aborto como un pase express al cielo
Y es que es natural sentirse mal no te lo niego
Más no veo normal mirar bondad donde hay clara maldad
Si Dios existe es imposible que sea bueno
Pues de ser así el león comería hierba y no terneros
Que algunos tengan que morir para que otros puedan vivir
Es el sistema más perverso que se podría concebir
Piensa en eso cuando pongas la salsa y el perejil
Al cadáver en tu plato que dio la vida por ti

Muchos citan la Biblia al querer justificar
Que es inmoral que entre dos hombres se puedan enamorar
Pero se saltan los versículos que ven como normal
Comprar esclavos y venderlos con total tranquilidad
Dios todo lo puede, excepto probar su existencia
Y aun así si no lo sigues al infierno te sentencia
Donde naces determina a quién le rezas
Por lo que no revelarse es la más grande negligencia
Dicen Dios no detiene a un homicida
Porque eso sería atentar contra su libre albedrío
Por lo que Dios respetó la voluntad del asesino
E ignoró la voluntad de aquel que quería seguir vivo
Cuando tú dudas de Dios, aunque sea por un instante
Te tiembla el cuerpo y la voz, y le pides perdonarte
Si Dios es tan bueno, ¿por qué habría de condenarte
Y torturarte eternamente tan solo por cuestionarle?

Tell that to those terminally ill patients

And don’t understand why their mom and dad cry so much
They say those who die young go to paradise
But no one really believes that, especially their parents

And see abortion as an express pass to heaven

But I don’t see it as normal to see goodness where there’s clear evil
If God exists, it’s impossible for him to be good

That it’s immoral for two men to fall in love
But they skip the verses they see as normal
Buying slaves and selling them with total ease
God can do anything, except prove his existence
And still, if you don’t follow him, he condemns you to hell
Where you’re born determines who you pray to
So not revealing yourself is the greatest negligence
They say God doesn’t stop a murderer
Because that would be infringing on his free will
So God respected the will of the killer
And ignored the will of the one who wanted to stay alive
When you doubt God, even for a moment
Your body shakes and your voice trembles, and you ask him to forgive you
If God is so good, why would he condemn you
And torture you forever just for questioning him?
