Ella grita mostrando una impotencia
Que no imagino jamás
Las lágrimas son la cascada de su triste realidad
Su mundo se derrumba mientras está sociedad
La ha consumido lentamente con su forma de juzgar
No es ficción, es realidad
Y ella no puede escapar
Su mirada apunta al suelo y no la puede levantar
A causa de aquellas miradas que la intentan humillar
Por eso vive en el silencio de su propia soledad
Dónde tiene que vivir y dónde tiene que aguantar
Porque tan solo ir a la calle la hace sentirse fatal
Pues nadie acepta lo que quiere y por ello la juzgan mal
Porque lo único que ella busca es su vida ya no empeorar
Pues no tiene una casa, ni un sueldo regular
Y aquel esposo que ayer tuvo la acaba de abandonar
Luego de saber la noticia de que un hijo iba a llegar
Y qué los impuestos subían cada día un poco más
Ella entonces quiso a ese hijo salvar
De la miseria que esperaba en el mundo en el que ella está
Por eso se armó de valor para una decisión tomar
Y aunque era dura no era tanto como era su realidad
Decidió abortar
Arriesgarlo todo
Y aunque sabe es ilegal continua por si sola
Se encamina a un hospital clandestino a la hora
Qué le a dado aquel doctor para que vaya sola
Sabe que hay un gran riesgo pero no va a parar
Por qué no quiere ver sufrir a ese ser que vendrá
Y aunque ella quiere que abortar sea seguro y normal
Entiende que el riesgo es muy alto en el lugar al que va
Ella cierra los ojos
La luz se va y se va
No imaginaba el resto
Qué no volvería más
Se adentro a un sueño eterno
Al principio del final
Su mente yace sepultada bajo tierra
Y nunca más volverá a ver lo que días antes solía ser su realidad
Pero al menos salvó a su hijo de lo que le iba a esperar
Y el doctor que hizo el aborto ahora en prisión está
Pagando por haber tratado de a una mujer ayudar
Pero lo peor es que este caso
No es aislado hay miles más
Todo por hacer del aborto una cuestión ilegal

All she seeks is to not make her life worse
She has no home, no steady paycheck
And that husband she had just walked out on her
After hearing the news that a child was on the way
And that taxes were rising a little more each day
So she wanted to save that child
From the misery waiting in the world she’s in
That’s why she gathered the courage to make a choice
And though it was hard, it wasn’t as tough as her reality
She decided to abort
To risk it all
And even though she knows it’s illegal, she goes on alone
Heading to a back-alley clinic at the hour
What that doctor gave her to go alone
She knows there’s a big risk, but she won’t stop
Because she doesn’t want to see that being suffer
And though she wants abortion to be safe and normal
She understands the risk is high in the place she’s going
She closes her eyes
The light fades away
She never imagined the rest
That she wouldn’t come back
She slipped into an eternal dream
At the beginning of the end
Her mind lies buried underground
And she’ll never see again what days before was her reality
But at least she saved her child from what awaited
And the doctor who performed the abortion is now in prison
Paying for trying to help a woman
But the worst part is that this case
Isn’t isolated; there are thousands more
All because they made abortion an illegal issue.
