A coroa que Ele usou não era de ouro
Apesar de O coroarem como rei
Não era de rubis ou diamantes
Mas era feita só de espinhos vis
Por que tratar um Rei desta maneira
E por que fazer-Lhe usar coroa tal?
Ele nunca foi forçado a usá-la
Mas por amor deixou Seu lar real.

O inimigo não desiste facilmente
Ele quer fazer-lhe usar coroa igual
Mas tenha isto sempre em sua mente
No calvário o bem venceu o mal.

The crown He wore was not made of gold
Although they crowned Him as king

Why treat a King in this way
And why make Him wear such a crown?
He was never forced to wear it
But out of love, He left His royal home.

He wants to make you wear a similar crown
But always keep this in mind
At Calvary, good triumphed over evil.
