Sancocho

Si quieres hacé un sancocho, un sancocho a lo oriental,
Un sancocho bien sabroso,
Pon cuidado a mi explicar

Si el sancocho es pescao fresco,
Pon primero a calentar
Ocumo, yuca y auyama, con su poquito de sal.
Y la bananita verde que no debe de faltar

Cuando esto esté en la candela,
No te olvides de agregar
Ají, cebollín y ajo, que es su sabor peculiar.
Y al ver amigo mío, a la verdura ablandar

Echa ese pescao fresco
Y limón sin reparar!
Y la botellita'e ron que no debe de faltar
