Que alegria, Jesus me salvou
Por Sua graça, pois Ele levou
Os meus pecados, cravando-os na cruz
Fazendo brilhar sobre mim a luz

Nem seus esforços, nem grande saber
Para um perdido sedento de luz
Se ele não crer no Senhor Jesus
Tenho descanso do céu, gozo enfim
Pois Jesus Cristo salvou-me a mim
Quando eu entrar no Seu reino de luz
Melhor vou louvar o Senhor Jesus

Let’s give Him glory for the great victory
That the Lord Jesus won for me
Always wandering, I roamed the world
Far from God, from the law’s commands
That promises me joy without end
And also gives me freedom here
Tears and cries won’t do a thing
Neither your efforts, nor great knowledge
For a lost soul thirsty for light
If he doesn’t believe in the Lord Jesus
I have rest from heaven, joy at last
For Jesus Christ has saved me
When I enter His kingdom of light
I’ll praise the Lord Jesus even more
