Per la fede una volta insegnata
Ai seguaci del santo evangel
La forza che in Cristo mi è data
Vo' combatter ed esser fedel
Voglio andar di valore in valor

Da Cristo ricever nel ciel
La corona riposta ai fedel
Di dio voglio vestir l'armatura
Per combattere e ritto restar
Nella lotta, per quanto sia dura
Potrò certo il nemico atterrar
In gesù sono fatto guerriero
Per soffrire e combattere ognor
E per esser valente ed intier
Nelle guerre del nostro Signor
Ed un giorno anch'io potrò dire
Ho lottato e serbata la fè
Con la fine del corso il soffrire
È cessato in eterno per me

The strength given to me in Christ
I want to fight and be faithful
I want to go from valor to valor

The crown reserved for the faithful
