Companheiros me falaram que esse tempo vai passar
Nessa cela todos sabem inocente eu estou
Mesmo que aqui me esqueçam eu espero no senhor
Quanto tempo esse tempo durara
Machucado e cansado a esperar
Tanto tempo nessa cela tantos sonhos planejei
Eu espero liberdade de viver como eu sonhei
Mesmo preso esperei a minha vitória
Sempre firme aguardando a minha hora
Ser humilde ser sincero muito mais eu aprendi
Viverei com Deus da glória dessa cela vou sair

In this cell, I cry and pray, it's my time to weep
Companions told me this time will pass
In this cell, everyone knows I am innocent
Even if they forget me here, I wait on the Lord
How long will this time last
Hurt and tired, waiting
So long in this cell, so many dreams I planned
I hope for the freedom to live as I dreamed
Even imprisoned, I waited for my victory
Always standing firm, awaiting my time
To be humble, to be sincere, I learned much more
I will live with God's glory, I will leave this cell
