De São Paulo um recanto abençoado,
santa terra hoje pensando em ti,
nós louvamos o teu nome amado,
festejando-te, Capivari!
Oh! Cidade natal tão benquista,
Tu feliz, sobre o teu céu de anil,
És também, um pedaço paulista
Desta Pátria gigante - o Brasil!
Salve, terra de luz e poesia
Salve, a terra de poetas que os céus
Cobrem sempre de paz e harmonia,
Sob as bênçãos excelsas de Deus!
Que este poema de graça e doçura
Que nas asas do amor sobe e voa,
Seja um brado de fé e suba à altura,
Suba ao céu que esta terra abençoa.
Eia! Em pé, pois, corações unidos!
Almas jovens, erguei-vos! Cantai!
Filhos desta terra destemidos,
Vosso grito de fé levantai!
