Behold, by His command
My soul leaves the earth and goes to enjoy in heaven
I despised the world, its profit and its praise
And I took God as my portion, and protector
God will be my guide with His infinite love
He will make me happy in everything, wherever I go
He took me by my hand, gave me light in darkness
And gives me eternal redemption, my Jesus
My God swore by Himself, I trusted in Him
And to the heaven He prepared for me, I will ascend
In glory I will see Him, trusting in His love
And forever magnify my redeemer!
