La Ola
Caminado por la playa
una ola me encontré.
Con el agua entre mis piernas
y la arena en mis pies.
Que bonita y al mirarla
en ella pude leer
tu pide ven lo que quieras
¡sí! Yo te convertiré.
Ahh… la miré.
Hay quien quiso ser estrella
allá en lo alto puedes ver.
Hay quien oro, hay quien piedra
esta misma puede ser.
Hay quien quiso ser arena
y no sé donde fue a parar c
omo quiena agua en esta tierra
muy lejos acabará.
Y por el mar navegando
que feliz podría ser
navegando por el agua
y amiga de la espuma ser.
Y soñando en la playa
por un momento me quedé.
Quiero ser ¿o no? cambiada
de aspecto y de forma de ser
pensando bien lo que deseo
aunque imperfecta. Quiero ser
sólo persona y con mis defectos
¡Que me quede como esté!
The Wave
Walking along the beach
I stumbled upon a wave.
With the water between my legs
And the sand beneath my feet.
How beautiful it is, and looking at it
I could read in it

Yes! I’ll make you into what you want.
Ahh… I saw it.
Some wanted to be a star
Up high, you can see.
Some are gold, some are stone
This one could be too.
Some wanted to be sand
And I don’t know where they ended up
Like water in this land
They’ll end up far away.
And sailing on the sea
How happy I could be
Sailing through the water
And being friends with the foam.
And dreaming on the beach
For a moment, I stayed.
I want to be, or not? changed
In looks and in the way I am
Thinking well about what I desire
Though imperfect. I want to be
Just a person with my flaws
Let me stay just as I am!
