The Place I Love
The place I love is a million miles away,
it's too far for the eye to see
Still it's me at least, and you can't come there
No one is allowed at all
Only animals that love, will always, only, ever could be
And it's always at the back of my mind.
The place I love is overgrown now
With beautiful moss and colourful flowers
And goldfish that swim in a pool, there's a small brick wall
With neon lighting controlled by lightning
I'm making a stand against the world
There's those who would hurt us if they heard.
The place I love is no where near here,
Not within a mile of those trendy do's,
Where dogsbodies pick you up, and graciously give you a lift,
With cherished thoughts and bitterness.

Der Ort, den ich liebe
Der Ort, den ich liebe, ist Millionen Meilen entfernt,
zu weit für das Auge, um ihn zu sehen.
Doch es bin ich, und du kannst dort nicht hin,
niemand ist dort überhaupt erlaubt.
Nur Tiere, die lieben, werden immer, nur, jemals sein können,
und es ist immer in meinem Hinterkopf.
Der Ort, den ich liebe, ist jetzt überwuchert
mit wunderschönem Moos und bunten Blumen
und Goldfischen, die in einem Teich schwimmen, da ist eine kleine Mauer.
Mit Neonlichtern, die vom Blitz gesteuert werden,
ich stelle mich gegen die Welt.
Es gibt die, die uns verletzen würden, wenn sie es hören.
Der Ort, den ich liebe, ist nicht in der Nähe,
nicht innerhalb einer Meile von diesen trendigen Orten,
wo Handlanger dich auflesen und dir höflich einen Lift geben,
mit geschätzten Gedanken und Bitterkeit.
Ich stelle mich gegen die Welt,
es gibt die, die uns verletzen würden, wenn sie es hören,
und das ist immer in meinem Hinterkopf.
