Yellow Lines

Jimmy Clifton

I don't know where I'm going
But surely I'm going with You
I can't see a single yellow line
But, Lord, if you are mine
I'll make it through
The road leads back to You

Hold my hand and lead me
To my home in the sky
I hear it won't be easy
But teach me, Lord, how to fly, when I die

I passed an exit sign
Lord, I'm tired, can we stop?
He says: Son, keep trucking and don't look back
But grab a nap, I'll take the wheel
I said: Lord, you have a deal

Hold my hand and lead me
To my home in the sky
I hear it won't be easy
But teach me, Lord, how to fly
When I die the road ends
And I'll be there, safe inside

But now I'm a travelling with my Lord
And yellow lins till I die
