My memories won't let me be

I'm living in a world of pain
From which I can't escape
I never meant to hurt no one
But I guess it's just my fate
Paying for the things I done
Before I learned the rule
Treat as you would be treated

My life here on earth
Ain't been nothin' but a solid mess
I'd be glad to get to hell

Wasted my youth running wild
Like a fire that had to burn
Took from my friends and family
Gave them nothing in return

Now I realize what I have lost
