Buscaba ser feliz sin importar lo que me costará
Y aparentaba todo el tiempo que todo estaba bien
Mi orgullo no me permitía aceptar la derrota
Mi orgullo no me permitía humillarme ante Dios
La salvación llegó y toco mi corazón afligido
Y Dios con su santo evangelio mi vida transformó
Mi mente, mi cerebro y cuerpo me fueron restaurados
Mi alma con su sangre preciosa mi Jesús la limpio
Fue mi Jesús que mi vida cambio, por eso yo quiero agradecerle

Drugs, gangs, the streets were destroying my life
My mind, my brain, and my body weren't functioning well
Chemicals and pills were sickening my soul
Living daily in a hallucination
It was my Jesus who changed my life for that
I want to thank you for his kindness and love, I will sing forever
I sought to be happy no matter the cost
And pretended all the time that everything was fine
My pride wouldn't allow me to accept defeat
My pride wouldn't allow me to humble myself before God
Salvation came and touched my afflicted heart
And God with his holy gospel transformed my life
My mind, my brain, and body were restored
My soul with his precious blood, my Jesus cleansed
It was my Jesus who changed my life, so I want to thank him
For his kindness and love, I will sing forever
