Who Is He

No podían darse cuenta

Me condenan a morir crucificado

Aún allá en la cruz del sacrificio
Pedía ya en Sus últimos alientos
Dios mío, recibe a Tu Hijo

Who Is He

One day when God, the very Word
By the work of His glory made flesh
He sent Him to this world to protect us
And to redeem us with His precious blood

He could have come with His kingdom
Surrounded by a thousand armed angels
But He came to fulfill the prophecies
For it was written that He would give His life

The people passing by were amazed
To see Him healing the sick
The blind, when they touched Him, could see
And everyone was asking each other

Who is He
That even the storms obey Him
Who is He
That can lift up the one who perishes

Who is He
That knows how to comfort the suffering
They couldn't realize
That He was the Son of God

Later, they betrayed Him and handed Him over
The crowd was shouting, all worked up
Punish this man, he has blasphemed
They forgot all His miracles

He endured it all, sad and silent
Only one prayer was heard on His lips
My Father, it is finished
They condemn me to die crucified

Even there on the cross of sacrifice
He asked in His last breaths
My God, receive Your Son
And forgive them, Lord, for what they have done

The gates of heaven began to open
And a ray of light fell on His face
Through it, He was seeing His Father
His spirit Jesus entrusted

Who is He
That even on His Calvary forgives us
Who is He
That makes the very glory tremble

Who is He
That asks our God for mercy
For those who killed Him
He pleads for forgiveness

They've realized too late
That He is the Son of God
Who is He
He is the Son of God
