Muralhas Gigantes
Entre quatro paredes parei pra pensar
Vi que o crime não compensa melhor foi deixar
Ali dentro a solidão toma conta de tudo
Muitas almas cansadas, sem Cristo, a vagar
Nos portões de ferro fica os sentinelas
Nas guaritas bem altas muitas armas a nos apontar
A escuridão da noite nos traz desespero
Muitos não se contém vão pras drogas se enganar
As muralhas gigantes nos separam do mundo
Mas o crente em Jesus tem pra onde apelar
O caminho para o céu não existe muralhas
É só aceitar a Cristo e a tua vida mudar
É difícil ser crente em uma prisão
Foi alí onde Deus transformou o meu coração
Me deu nova vida e os meus pecados ele redimiu
E hoje estou livre louvando ao meu Salvador
Às seis horas da tarde chegava a tristeza
Muitas vezes tão grande que até chorava
Mas Jesus bem pertinho de mim me falava
Oh! Não temas meu servo eu estou ao seu lado
Dentro da minha sela pela madrugada
Enquanto outros dormiam Jesus me chamava
Eu falava pra Ele da minha aflição
Muitas vezes em visão eu lhe contemplava
Giant Walls
Between four walls I stopped to think
I saw that crime doesn't pay, it's better to leave
Inside there, loneliness takes over everything
Many tired souls, without Christ, wandering
At the iron gates stand the guards
In the high watchtowers, many weapons pointing at us
The darkness of the night brings us despair
Many can't contain themselves, turn to drugs to deceive
The giant walls separate us from the world
But the believer in Jesus has someone to appeal to
The way to heaven has no walls
Just accept Christ and change your life
It's hard to be a believer in a prison
It was there where God transformed my heart
He gave me a new life and redeemed my sins
And today I am free praising my Savior
At six o'clock in the evening, sadness would come
Many times so great that I would even cry
But Jesus, very close to me, would speak
Oh! Do not fear, my servant, I am by your side
Inside my cell in the early morning
While others slept, Jesus called me
I would talk to Him about my affliction
Many times in vision, I would contemplate Him
