E me deparei com Maria Madalena
Chorando junto ao túmulo do Rei
Ela levanta Sua cabeça
Enxugando Suas lágrimas, Seus olhos Ela abriu
E onde estava o corpo do Mestre?
Dois anjos Maria viu
E eles lhe perguntaram: Maria, por que choras?
Então, Maria lhe respondeu
Aqui estava o corpo do Mestre Jesus
Só que o corpo d'Ele desapareceu, desapareceu
Então, Maria anda pra trás, creio eu, já disposta a ir embora
É quando Yeshua aparece e lhe pergunta: Maria, por que choras?
Maria, por que Me buscas? Maria, faça-Me o favor
Não Me procure entre os mortos, porque vivo Eu estou
Vai lá e avisa os seus irmãos
Pra começarem a sorrir
Diz a eles que não acabou
Mas que a morte Eu venci
Então, Maria, sem perder tempo, foi
Em direção aos discípulos Ela correu
E disse a eles assim: Senta todo mundo aqui
Porque eu vou contar tudo que aconteceu
É que a terra estremeceu, sepulcro se abriu
E nada vencerá Seu grande amor
Ó, morte, onde está? O Rei ressuscitou

And I came across Mary Magdalene
Crying at the King's tomb
She lifts Her head
Wiping Her tears, Her eyes She opened
And where was the Master's body?
Two angels Mary saw
And they asked her: Mary, why are you weeping?
Then Mary answered him
Here was the body of Master Jesus
But His body disappeared, disappeared
So, Maria walks back, I believe, already ready to leave
That's when Yeshua appears and asks her: Mary, why are you crying?
Mary, why do you seek Me? Mary, do Me a favor
Don't look for Me among the dead, because I am alive
Go there and tell your brothers
To start smiling
Tell them it's not over
But I have overcome death
So, Maria, without wasting time, went
Towards the disciples She ran
And he said to them: Everybody sit here
Because I'm going to tell you everything that happened
The earth shook, the tomb opened
And nothing will overcome His great love
Oh, death, where are you? The King is risen
He won forever
